The evaluation exam for the Ālimiyyah program of esteemed scholars was held at Herat University.

Herat University hosted the evaluation exam for the Ālimiyyah program of esteemed scholars today, in a ceremony attended by Sheikh Mawlana Noor Ahmad Islamjar, Governor of Herat Province; Sheikh Abdul Ghani Haqqani, Chancellor of Herat University; vice-chancellors; the Head of Mulla Ali al-Qari al-Harawi Institute; the Director of Herat’s Department of Education; deans of faculties; professors; and a number of respected scholars.

During the opening ceremony, the Governor of Herat emphasized the importance of respecting the directives of Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah preserve him), and called for the accurate implementation of the Ministry of Higher Education’s regulations, along with transparent and orderly exam procedures. He stated that this initiative marks a significant step toward the formal recognition of scholars' academic credentials and the elevation of their scholarly status.

The examination officially commenced following the ceremony, with the distribution of question papers to all participants.
