The new chancellor of Mullah Ali al-Qari al-Harawi University, may Allah have mercy on him, has been introduced.

During a ceremony held today at Mullah Ali al-Qari al-Harawi University in Herat, Mufti Sayed Anwar-ul-Haq Habibi was officially introduced as the new President of the university and formally assumed office. The event was attended by Mufti Abdul Sattar Al-Mohsin, the former President of Mullah Ali al-Qari al-Harawi University, Hajj Mawlawi Ghulam Dastgir Elham, Head of Personnel Affairs at the Herat Provincial Governor’s Office, as well as the university’s vice presidents, faculty members, and administrative staff.

During the ceremony, Mufti Abdul Sattar Al-Mohsin congratulated Mufti Sayed Anwar-ul-Haq Habibi on his appointment as the new President of Mullah Ali al-Qari al-Harawi University in Herat and wished him success in his new responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of trustworthiness, sincerity, and commitment in fulfilling official duties, stressing dedicated service for the growth and development of the university. Referring to Islamic teachings, he described leadership as a great trust and called upon all faculty members, officials, and administrative staff to support the university’s new leadership through cooperation, coordination, and unity in advancing its academic and administrative affairs.

Likewise, Hajj Mawlawi Ghulam Dastgir Elham, Head of Personnel Affairs at the Herat Provincial Governor’s Office, stated that changes in administrative responsibilities are a natural part of institutional governance. He expressed appreciation for the services and efforts of the former president and wished Mufti sayed anwar-ul-haq habibi continued success in his new assignment.
